Defending His Title, Robinson Recorded in History

Nate Robinson is recorded in NBA history, after the New York Knicks guard won the Slam Dunk contest. He became the first basketball player who succeeded won the contest for the third time.
Robinson should be labeled as the king of the NBA Slam Dunk. In the contest that was held on Sunday (14.2.2010) afternoon GMT+7, he defeated the Toronto Raptors rookie, DeMar DeRozan with the acquisition of 51 percent of the fans vote in final round.
In his final action, Robinson threw the ball to the board. The ball that was bouncing hard was successfully catched and he performed slam dunk with two hands in the back.
This title ensures Robinson formally entered the NBA history books. The player who is only 175 cm tall has become the first player in NBA history who win the Slam Dunk contest three times, beyond the basketball legend Michael Jordan who has just collected two titles.
Four years ago, Robinson became the Slam Dunk champion as a rookie. Then he was succeeded becoming champion in 2009, after defeating Dwight Howard who was the defending champions at that time.
In the Three point shot contest, Paul Pierce appeared to be the best. The Boston Celtics ace scored 20 shots and beat Stephen Curry (Golden State) who just scored 17 points and Dallas star, Chauncey Billups just recorded 14 shots.
Meanwhile, Steve Nash also got the best title in the Skill Challenge. Only within 29.9 seconds the 36-year-old basketball player beat the 2008 champion, Derron Williams in the final round.
Meanwhile, in the Shooting Stars contest, the one who came out as the champion is Texas team which was by Steve Nash (Phoenix Suns), Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks), and Becky Hammon (San Antonio Silver Stars).
While the H-O-R-S-E competition which was competed for the first time was won by Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City).
