Kidd Replaces Kobe
Posted Under: basketball
The worries about Kobe Bryant’s absence in NBA All Star League come true. The LA Lakers superstar was almost certainly to be absent and will be replaced by Jason Kidd.
It is mentioned by Marc Stein of ESPN. Kobe who is the second favorite player in the All Star 2010 poll under LeBron James had not been playing in the last three Lakers matches due to his left ankle injury.
He will be replaced by Kidd who was the player from Dallas Mavericks. Although he plays as a point guard, he was considered to be able to play well as a shooting guard, who occupied the position of Kobe. Meanwhile Kidd’s presence will also be beneficial because the NBA All Star League will be held in Dallas.
In other hand, Allen Iverson is also reported will miss this prestigious event. That’s because his daughter was ill.
The power forward of News Yorks Knicks, David Lee will replace Iverson. His impressive games along with the Knicks so far has made him worthy of getting a place in the NBA All Star.
