Yamaha says that the decision not to share data between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will not lead to conflict. But Lorenzo faction rate is not good policy.
Yamaha “let” Rossi and Lorenzo compete in the open, after deciding the two drivers did not exchange data on this season. Manufacturers from Japan was convinced that this decision will not lead to conflict between the champions and runners-up last season’s.
Lorenzo himself, despite claiming not to understand the decision Yamaha, was not a problem if he had come second later.
Now camp racer from Spain came back to speak about policy team. “To develop the motor, this policy is not good. When we put on Michelin and Valentino with Bridgestone, data sharing is an obligation. But now the policy (do not share data) was not unreasonable and in my opinion is a step backwards,” said crew chief Lorenzo, Ramon Focada quoted from Motorcycle News.
Still Focada not want polemics in words too long. “We will continue our work with our own. At the end of the season we’ll see whether the policy Yamaha this time good or not,” he finished.
