Ross Brawn admitted that the Mercedes Grand Prix still not 100 percent ready. But Mercedes Grand Prix team principal is still set target of winning team in the series opener in Bahrain.
The F1 teams are currently doing final preparations to face the series season opener in Bahrain GP Sunday (14.3.2010). No exception Mercedes reinforced by Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg.
But Brawn admitted that the Mercedes is still not 100 percent ready after a test during the winter. Yet he was not so worried about it because everything will be ready later.
“We’re not so good as our preparation as we wanted. It was a difficult winter. I think this is the first winter with 450 men. We lost in some areas,” said Brawn as reported by Auto Sport.
“But I’m quite happy with our car. That shows something promising. We need to continue to develop speed, and after that we will be better,” he says.
Brawn dared target for victory in Bahrain later. “Bahrain, our goal is the start in Bahrain. Our target is always there to win the next race. Your next race is in Bahrain,” he said.
