The match between Evander Holyfield versus Francois Botha in Uganda finally cancelled. It was because the promoter broke the agreement about the pre-match payment.

Holyfield will have a match with Botha in Uganda. This is the first match since his last match a year ago.

The league firstly scheduled to be held at the 16th of January. But it was delayed until the 20th of January.

This league was finally cancelled. As reported by USA Today, Holyfield’s manager Ken Sanders said that it was because of the promoter didn’t fulfill their promise to give the pre-match payment.

“They promised to give 500 thousand US dollar within 2 months and they didn’t do that,” said Sanders as quoted from Atlanta Journal Constitution.

However, the match between two boxers who are known as The Real Deal kontra The White Buffalo will be held. “we will try to hold this match in United States on the 6th of  March. But haven’t done anything yet to realize this plan,” Sanders ends.
