Rossi Greets Surabaya

A special guest arrived at Jakarta, the seven-time world champion GP, Valentino Rossi. In the ‘City of Heroes’, the Italian racer was going to do some activities.

Rossi came to Surabaya on Monday (1/3/2010) to be invited by Yamaha. Rossi will launch the slogan ‘The more at Home’, a slogan Yamaha Indonesia, which will be installed in the tail motor in MotoGP YZR M1 and on the sleeve Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo.

Launch slogan ‘The more at Home’ will be performed this afternoon Rossi in DBL Arena, Jalan Ahmad Yani Surabaya.

“I had two trips to Indonesia together with Yamaha. This extraordinary surprise,” said Rossi in a press conference at JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya.

“I am pleased and proud to be in Indonesia. Not to be ambassadors Yamaha. I am glad to have written in Indonesian language on my bike. More in front, the other in the back,” added Rossi joked.

In addition to Rossi, attended the event was the President Director of Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia Dyonisius Beti, Yamaha Motor Company GM Masaro Kurusawa, and managers in the Fiat Yamaha Rossi Davide Brivio.

In the press conference, Rossi pose on the Jupiter MX bike, motorcycle production YMKI Rossi taking as its icon.

“Joining with Yamaha’s fantastic,” said Rossi who has defended the team ‘Fork Tala’ since 2004. “To have a good relation with the team was a major factor in getting the best results.”
