Schumi: Mercedes is still Far Away

Currently there is high confidence in himself Michael Schumacher on his team’s performance, Mercedes. Seven-time world champion from Germany did not feel his team was able to achieve victory in the series early.
“Currently we have not reached the state we want. Maybe not competitive enough to win the race, the race early,” Schumacher said after attending the session pre-season test in Barcelona, Friday (26/2/2010).
“But we’re working hard. Season long run. The main issue for us is that not too far behind. It is difficult to make judgments now. This picture in fact,” he continued as quoted by Autosport.
Although the car is less fast, Schumi is ranked only seventh in the test session in Barcelona is claimed to have tuned in last season’s team named Brawn Grand Prix, and won a double victory in the class that drivers and constructors.
“We worked together very well. Of course, need a little time for all people. These are people who are okay, professional and a team has a very good atmosphere.”
Though it has not looked good in the test session, including the first session in Valencia last week, Schumacher still hoping for better results after the race began. “Trials are trials, the race is another thing,” he concluded.
