Should Eric Maynor stay, or should he go?

Nice story in the Times-Dispatch about the future of VCU point guard Eric Maynor this morning.

I have to say that I’d never thought of Maynor personally as an early NBA draft entrant, but obviously he does.

I’ll give him some props – he’s averaging 17.8 points per game, 5.3 assists per game (with a 2-1 assist-to-turnover ratio), is shooting 46.3 percent from the field, 40.7 percent from the three-point line.

And he had that game last March against Duke. Can’t forget that.

He seems a bit slight to me physically – listed at 6-2, 175, though he comes across as less substantial than even that.

I dunno, I’m not trying to dog the guy. He’s a great college player, and he could one day play in the Association, no doubt.

But as an early entrant?

That’s our question for today.

Should Eric Maynor stay, or should he go?

I leave it to you.
