Undergoing a Surgery, Bosingwa Will be Absent in South Africa

Asa Jose Bosingwa’s chance to perform at the 2010 World Cup finally vanished. He certainly did not compete there because of the need to increase the operating table again.

After missing because of injury at the end of 2009 and, Bosingwa is already starting to do light exercise after the surgery because of injury.

However, the process must be very disappointed that he swallowed. Chelsea defender was now required to undergo surgery again and make him absent until the end of the season.

“Bosingwa will miss until the end of the season. We’ll be back to do surgery on his knee and that means he also will miss the World Cup,” explained Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins is quoted as ESPN Star.

This is not only a blow for Chelsea’s pursuit of the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League but also the loss means for the Portugal national team would be strengthened defender is in South Africa later.

In the upcoming 2010 World Cup, Portugal joined with Brazil, Ivory Coast and North Korea in Group G.
